It’s an exciting week in HubSpot world with the kickoff of Inbound happening right now!  I’m here at my desk getting some sites up and running live this week!  Always fun and exciting to do that as well.  After hundreds of HubSpot projects, there’s nothing I love more than to launch a new site on HubSpot.

Since I last emailed you I’ve got three projects that you might be able to relate with.  I’m providing Budgeted Ranges to put in perspective what kind of project it might have been.

Project 1:  Budget $1000 - $2000

I launched this project a couple of months ago.  It was a classic case of a long term HubSpot portal that needed a fresh update.  The website was built on the Briefcase template from a few years ago.  It was built on the old drag and drop template editor and my friends from B & H Machine, were looking to enjoy the benefits of the new HubSpot CMS with drag and drop page editor and HubSpot themes.

The B & H team bought Briefcase for it’s simplicity and cost effectiveness as mentioned in this post by Databox CEO Pete Caputa..  I was able to hook up the team and B & H with a new theme using HubSpot CMS Themes and drag and drop page editing updates keeping simplicity and cost effectiveness as a continued priority!

You can see for yourself right here.  This is the page that is on the old template editor vs. the same page on the new theme editor and drag and drop page editor with new templates and new modules.    Check it out on mobile and desktop and let me know what you think!  They’re supposed to look the same.

Now when the B&H team updates the site and wants to create new content and new pages, they can stay with the look and feel of the existing site and make updates using all the latest and greatest features and modules offered by HubSpot. If you’re looking to do the same setup a time to meet and I’ll give you a free quote!

Project 2:  Budget $4,000 - $8,000

This project is hot off the press!  It’s a website for my long time friend and colleague Carole Mahoney, Sales Coach, Speaker, and Author.  Carole has two websites.  Her latest site www.CaroleMahoney.com was on Wordpress.  The site looked amaze!  It was sharp as hell and perfect for her.  The problem wasn’t the look or the feel. The problem was in the performance!

Carole and her team were having trouble making simple edits to the WordPress site.  Much of what made the site look great were the many plugins and bells and whistles.  I was able to move Carole over to a Basic Level HubSpot account for all of her website needs.  I rebuilt the entire site on HubSpot with little sacrifice on design and even included some enhancements.

The site was up in time for the Inbound Conference this week.  The message I got from Carole was “Yay! It loads so much faster now!”.  Sounds like a little thing but if you’re on WordPress you might know the spinning loading wheel of website limbo!

If you click around her site in the main navigation you will see many sections that were built using modules from Testimonial sliders to “Click to Copy” press kit buttons.  One very cool thing is that the forms on the site feed back into Carole’s main site at UnboundGrowth.com.

This page had the most complexity to it and this was something I was very happy to solve for Carole.  A lot of the functionality on this page is to make putting together Carole’s press kit very easy for the end user.  Carole’s ethos is to be “others thinking” and you can see from her site she is donning the “not about me” shirt.  Thinking of her visitors and ease of use was priority #1.  I was able to recreate several widgets that already were available for WordPress and ported them over to HubSpot.  You might often hear that certain things can’t be done on HubSpot.  I don’t agree!  There’s a lot that can be done!  Carole’s site is proof!

Project 3:  Budget $15,000 - $30,000

Another hot project off the press and available post inbound, viewable in the upcoming week…  This site is a top secret site right now but I’ll explain the situation so that you might find value in it.

I’ve partnered with agencies for over 10 years now in the HubSpot world. Agencies that sell websites and agency’s that don’t.  The problem I often have is that I can’t show the work, I do for them or for their clients.  I mean, I can, but I choose not too.  Sometimes I’m purely behind the scenes.  Probably 50-75% of my work, is work that I don’t share in my portfolio.

Recently a Diamond partner agency hired me to take 3 design files from an artist and make a 50 page, 300 blog post site.  I took this project on as a solo and my junior developer on the project was a GPT model that I’ve trained to be my helper (that’s AI).

This project has gone very well and it’s launching on time, on budget, and it is one of the slickest looking sites out there.  I wish I could share more but I can’t right now.  However if you have a site or a designer you work with, I can take a few inspirational files from your team and make a Professional site for your mid size enterprise.  If you currently have a project planned simply reply to this email and I’ll provide you a quote for service and if you like I can for a fee design a scope of work and project plan even if you decide to go with someone else.

I’ve been hard at work figuring out how to lend my 20,000 working hours in HubSpot and over 10 years of time making HubSpot websites to be more useful to the HubSpot community.
