
Biography of our CEO Joe Jerome
I had 8 years experience in Senior Marketing positions working with various vendors on a range of projects before I started BrandBuilder Solutions. I started this company because what I noticed from my vendors was the experience didn't always live up to the initial presentation. Marketing vendors were hired and they provided solutions that made sense to them but didn’t do the same for us. And when there was disagreement the vendors were reluctant to listen to our needs. From my perspective I was hiring people to add to the thoughts of my team and provide guidance and a true dialogue to achieve the team’s goals, often finding that this rarely occurred.
My career started as a Senior Analyst for Harrah’s Entertainment and most notable contribution was being an integral part of the transition team when Harrah’s acquired the Showboat Brand. We made a seamless migration from a massive loyalty program with Showboat to the respected and cutting edge Total Rewards Customer Loyalty Club for Harrah’s Entertainment. I had the benefit of operating with two companies who were known for service and customer relationship management. Showboat was a large company that provided service like a small company that knows all of its customers by name. Harrah’s was and remains the chief industry innovator of Customer Relationship Management. As a large company they have managed a series of corporate M&A deals and have maintained the strongest brand in the entertainment industry. I had the benefit of learning what Brand Loyalty was from the marketing wisdom of CEO Gary Loveman.
After leaving Harrah’s I went to Dover Downs Gaming and Entertainment (NYSE DDE) to be Chief Marketer of a what evolved into a $400 million plus market leader. I worked with all levels of management and was responsible for a marketing budget in the tens of millions of dollars. I have received the highest recommendation of the current CEO Edward Sutor, a man who is what I and my esteemed industry colleagues consider an industry leader. Before coming to Dover Downs Mr. Sutor was the CFO for Caesar’s Casinos. Working side by side with Mr. Sutor and the superb team at Dover Downs we transformed the brand and received the highest honor for Best Racino in the country by Casino Player Magazine. We transformed the brand through the combination of solid Brand establishment through marketing and operations and by combining the highest levels of Technology with Marketing and Financial measurement. My experience at Dover Downs was rewarding and gave me the tools needed to start BrandBuilder Solutions.
As CEO of BrandBuilder Solutions I have had the pleasure of working with teams from successful businesses in a range of industries outside of Entertainment including Banking and Finance, Ecommerce, Technology, and more. We have maintained the highest levels of satisfaction among all our clients and my company has delivered outstanding results on all levels.
